Keeping Safe in the Sun & Heat
- Stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day.
- Hydrate—drink water.
- Use sunscreen with UVB and UVA, to block both kinds of damaging ultraviolet light
- Consider water resistant sunscreen if you are spending time in the water or will be sweating.
- Watch out for the chemicals in some sun screens, particularly when applying to children. They can be allergens to sensitive skin.
- Wear a hat & sunglasses.
